A sci-fi obsessed Chinese business tycoon has spent a whopping 100 million pounds to make his company headquarters look like a Star Trek spaceship.

Multi-millionaire Liu Dejian, the chairman of China's most popular mobile internet provider, was granted a license to build the impressive replica in Fujian Province. Liu, a huge fan of Star Trek, spent approximately 100 million pounds on the office building to pay homage to the American science fiction entertainment franchise.

Construction on the offices began in 2008, and the building was made ready last year, becoming the new headquarters of NetDragon Websoft company. Liu's Star Trek obsession is believed to have begun when he was studying at the University of Kansas in US, according to Metro.co.uk.

The impressive recreation features 30 foot metal slides between levels, and automatic sliding gates.
