Asus to unveil new addition to ZenFone 3 Series in India

Taiwanese smartphone makers Asus is set to launch its very first smartphone of 2017 and the newest addition to its ZenFone 3 series in India. The smartphone -- expected to be the ZenFone 3S Max -- will be unveiled via web streaming on 7th February 2017 at 12 noon. To catch the streaming, click here.

In terms of specifications, the device features a 5.2-inch HD display with a 720x1280 pixels resolution. It is paired with a 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6750 octa-core processor, paired with 3GB RAM. It includes an internal storage of 32GB, which can be further expanded up to 2TB via microSD card. The unique selling point of the device is its 5000mAh battery.

Running Android 7.0 Nougat based ZenUI 3.0; the smartphone comes equipped with a 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, 5P Largan lens and dual-LED real-tone flash. It also sports an 8MP front facing camera.
