Asus ROG G752VS and ROG Strix GL502VS VR-ready laptops launch in India, starting at Rs 1,81,990

Asus Republic of Gamers (ROG) unveiled its gaming notebooks in India equipped with the latest NVidia Pascal GeForce GTX 10 series laptops. The company says that the VR-Ready Nvidia GeForce GTX 10-series graphics cards provide exceptional performance and energy efficiency to give gamers incredible VR-gaming experiences. The graphics cards also feature Nvidia G-SYNC technology which Nvidia says will reduce lag and stutter, and eliminate visual tearing to ensure the smoothest and fastest gaming visuals.

ROG G752VS

The Asus ROG G752VS comes with an armor titanium and plasma copper colour scheme. The laptop features NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 GPU (which reportedly delivers up to 80% higher performance than previous-generation graphics cards,) Windows 10 Pro, 6th generation Intel Skylake unlocked Core i7 processor and up to 64GB DDR4 RAM. The processor has an overclocking toolkit, allowing users to overclock the system to speeds of up to 4.0GHz. ROG G752VS boasts a panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and wide 178-degree viewing angles. ROG G752VM is also powered by a 6th-generation Intel Core i7 ‘Skylake’ processor and up to 64GB DDR4 RAM and has a backlit anti-ghosting keyboard with 30-key rollover.

ROG Strix GL502VS

The compact ROG GL502VS comes with a VR Ready NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 GPU offering a virtual reality experience. It comes with a 15-inch wide-view panel which allows for a 178 degree viewing angle and weighs 2.3 Kg. The notebook promises to improve speed, capacity, and lower power consumption while offering 32GB of DDR4 RAM. the device also comes with ROG Strix GL502 which is designed for cooling efficiency. This integrated control center give users access to functions like -- find system information, set up hotkeys for faster in-game commands, adjust audio settings or record gameplay from a single dashboard. In addition, the devices integrate Asus GameFirst III technology which the company claims will optimize network traffic for faster, lag-free online gaming. Its interface lets you choose between four preset package priority modes (Optimization, Game, Media Streaming, and File Sharing) via its intuitive interface.

Both laptops -- Asus ROG GL502VS and ROG G752VS -- will be available across all online and offline leading retailers and Asus exclusive stores for Rs 1,81,990 and Rs 2,47,990 respectively.
