The latest update for the Apple Watch has been causing the smartwatch to take fewer than it's default number of readings in the day.

This might not be good news for heart patients but the latest update for Apple Watch has a bug that interferes with take heart readings.

Several Apple Watch owners are reporting that the device's heart rate sensor has been taking readings less consistently, ever since Apple released a software update, the Verge reported. The smartwatch is supposed to take one's heart rate every 10 minutes throughout the day by default, and the frequency of heart rate measurements jumps drastically during workouts so that the Watch can better track one's exertion in real time.
