Google has posted the second doodle in its series of Happy Holidays 2014 doodles. A tradition they started about 10 years ago.

Second doodle posted on the search engine features a man, in a red ski suit pulling a sleigh laden with his luguage and other belongings across the snow. The doodle says 'Tis the season! and has a Google logo placed on a blue banner on top of it. The first doodle in the series was posted on Tuesday and it had a reindeer-driven sleigh with three child passengers and a driver dashing through the snow.

In 2010, the doodle had interactive portraits of holiday scenes from across the world and in 2013 it had a horse drawn open sleigh running through the snow.

In popular culture, eight flying reindeer pull Santa's sleigh as he delivers presents to children around the world on Christmas Eve. This scenario was described American poet Clement Clarke Moore in 1820's. Approximately 100 years later, American writer Robert L. May added Rudolph with his red nose leading the way.
