A flying car, dubbed the 'Aeromobil', was recently unveiled at the 2014 Pioneers Festival in Vienna, that can reach a top speed of up to 160 kmph on land and 200 kmph in flight.

The version 3.0 of the swing-wing, six-meter-long steel and carbon-fiber flying car, which was designed and built in Slovakia, has a flight range of 700 kilometres. It can also take off from a 300 metre-long runway (ideally on grass) and land within 50 metres, making it a highly flexible vehicle.

The makers stated that the two-seater vehicle's largest potential market would not be Silicon Valley tech executives, but emerging countries in Africa and Asia where roads are poor or non-existent.
