In an era where we as consumers have suddenly become obsessed with tracking our every activity--from distance covered using GPS to heart rate trends to steps taken and calories burnt, the fitness wearable is now the gadget for the masses. From FitBit to GOQii to Garmin to Xiaomi, brands are outing wearable fitness monitors that span the entire gamut of shapes, form factors and price points.

All of these use some combination of sensors to track human inputs such as temperature, cardiovascular activity and movement, in conjunction with software that analyses this information and presents it in a neat, readable format that can be easily interpreted. Basically, the more you know about your physical activity, the more informed you can be about raising levels and enhancing physical fitness levels.

But the overwhelming majority of these trackers do largely the same thing--tracking fitness metrics and interpreting them in some graphically creative manner. Some bands like GOQii takes this a step further by augmenting the service with a real live coach, who helps interpret and plan exercise, diet and activity as you move toward your fitness goal.

But imagine having this coach with you during your actual exercise regime: an expert that pipes real-time tips and encouragement right into your ear. Be it training for competition swimming or that full marathon, there is a device that actually gives you blow-by-blow feedback at every stage of your workout routine while you slog it out: the Moov Now multi-sport wearable coach.

This tracker is able to identify and monitor a range of activities including running, cycling, swimming, boxing, walking and more. Unlike the rest, it goes a step further by using sensors that are accurate enough to identify precise movements in 3D space, enabling it to even recognize specific details (a swimming stroke or running stride for example.)

The Moov Now fitness band contains over 12 scientifically guided workouts, with the ability to connect and compete with friends. It is, of course, water and dustproof and also boasts a 6 month battery life on a single charge. It is compatible with both iOS and Android device. But kicker? It costs just $59.99.

On both price and performance, this looks like the fitness wearable that has upped the benchmark for good.
