1. Average specs but a tricked out audio experience
The Marshall London don't speak much for the phone. It's packed with a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage (expandable via micro SD), 4.7-inch 720p display, 8MP/5MP rear and front cam, 2500mAh battery, 4G support and running Android 5.0.2.
2. Retro design intrinsic to Marshall
The phones retro-themed design will bring back memories of fiddling with your amplifier for a soundcheck. The same matte-black exterior on the back panel as on Marshall amplifiers.
3. 'M' button and volume scroller
The London has a brass 'M' button for your dedicated music access, and substitutes standard vlume rockers for a brass scroll wheel.
4. Dual 3.5mm audio line-in
The phone proevs it's meant for music lovers with dual 3.5mm lne-in ports on the top spine, as well as individual volume controls for both.
5. Preloaded music apps over Android Lollipop
The London comes preloaded with customized music apps like DJApp and Loopstack and even has dual mics with noise cancellation for optimum sound recording.
6. Wolfson WM8281 Audio Hub to play FLAC
The Marshall London also comes packed with the Wolfson WM8281 Audio Hub, that provides a second processor for your music, allowing you to play loss-less FLAC format as well.
7. Preorders open for 8 countries; shipping in August
Preorders are open for UK, Germany, France, Italy, Belgium, Spain, Switzerland, Netherlands, Scandinavia and the Baltic States as of now. Shipments begin August 17. Priced at US $ 583 for Sweden, though US portal lists it as US $249.
