Guru Purnima is on July 9

Guru Purnima is celebrated as one of the most auspicious days in the Hindu calendar. It is celebrated on the full moon day in the month of Ashadha – the period between June and July. This year, the day will be observed on July 9, and while a number of people are already talking about it on Twitter, NASA Moon, too, acknowledged it as a day.
It is tweet, which has also been retweeted by NASA, NASAMoon wrote, “Full moon this weekend - called Guru Purnima, Hay Moon, Mead Moon, Ripe Corn Moon, Buck Moon, or our favorite, THUNDER MOON (sic).”
