 A 34-year-old woman jumped to death from a school building in Amraiwadi on Sunday morning. According to sources, she took the drastic step following frequent clashes with family members over her alleged affair with an employee of the school.

Deceased Bhavna Thaker was working as maid in Seventh-Day Adventist Higher Secondary School at Haripura in Amraiwadi for the past 10 years. According to sources, Bhavna committed suicide by jumping from the second floor of the building.

A staffer of the school called 108 on Sunday morning at around 7.45, informing the personnel that Bhavna had fallen from the school building. However, when the personnel reached the spot, they found that Bhavna was already dead. They immediately informed the Ramol police about the incident. Bhavna's husband Ashok has been working as peon with an office of the school at Maninagar.

The incident happened when Bhavna and her mother Manjula come to the school for their routine work on Sunday morning. When Manjula went to work at some other place on the school campus, Bhavna jumped to her death. The couple had no child even after 13 years of marriage. The police have registered an FIR in the incident and further investigation is on.
