Next time you visit any hotel, beware of the hidden cameras that might be clicking your photographs while you are undressing. The Kagdapith police on Thursday conducted a raid at a mobile store near Gita mandir bus stand, and arrested one Asfaq Chipra, a resident of Astodia, for circulating nude photographs of women through mobile.

A source said that Chipra, who owns the Goodluck mobile shop, sold nude and semi-nude photographs of women to his customers; he charged Rs100 for each clipping.
RG Patel, PI at Kagdapith police station said, “Police acted on a tip off, conducted a raid at the mobile shop and arrested Chipra.” The police have also seized four porn CDs, a computer and other accessories from the mobile store. Patel said that while Chipra charged Rs50 for downloading songs, he charged Rs100 for downloading porn pictures in customers’ mobile phones.

Chipra had first transferred the photographs into a CD and then into his mobile phone. The Kagdapith police said that most of the pictures which Chipra sold were taken either from hotels or from departmental stores where saleswomen changed their clothes.
Patel also said that most of Chipra’s customers were youngsters. Police is now trying to find out about the people who provided Chipra with these pictures. A source said that most of the pictures have been taken in metro cities, and that there is an involvement of several gangs and big shots in the racket.
