Paris Hilton has come up with her own mantra to boost the crunched economy-shopping.

The millionaire hotel heiress has revealed in the new issue of Tatler magazine that she is doing her bit to lessen the recession blues by injecting some funds into the markets.

"I am helping the economy by doing a lot of shopping," the New York Daily News quoted her as telling metro.co.uk.

The 28-year-old defended her shopaholic attitude last year as well, during a New Year's trip to Australia.

According to BreitBart.com, she said at the time: "I'm in Australia, I think it's important to help out, you know, the economy out here, everywhere in the world. And what's wrong with doing a little shopping? It's New Year's, I need a New Year's dress."

The party-lover further boasted about her prizes to Tatler, saying: "In the boot is a Dolce & Gabbana dress covered in diamonds. I love couture dresses because no one else has them."
