A 35-year old man apparently shot to death his five children before killing himself at the Pierce County in Washington in what police described as a domestic violence case.

Investigators said five children between 7 and 16 years old were found dead in a mobile-home in Graham area and they may have been killed by their father, who also died.

The bodies were found after a relative saw one of the victims through a window. The seven-year-old was a boy and the others were girls, said Pierce County Sheriff's spokesman Ed Troyer.

The father's body had been found on Sunday morning in a car in Auburn, a kilometer away, Troyer said.

Investigators believe the children were killed by their father, Troyer said and described the killings as a domestic-violence case, 'The Seattle Times' reported.

"There's nothing that leads us to believe it wasn't gunshot wounds and it wasn't the father," Troyer said

Authorities did not disclose the identities of the family, however, they have found the mother.

Troyer said four of the children were found in bedrooms and one in the bathroom of the mobile home.
