Kin of a Surat-based textile businessman has gone missing for last two days even as police remain clueless about his whereabouts. The cell phone owned by him is also switched off, making life difficult for policemen.

As per information, Tushar Bihngaria, 25, a resident of Amar Swapn Society near Surat railway station is missing since Monday morning. Bhingaria left his house saying that he was going to his textile shop, but neither did he reach shop nor return home at night. He was carrying Rs10 lakh with him while going to shop. When attempts to trace him
failed, family members lodged a complaint at Sachin police station on Wednesday.

Bhingaria’s father is a renowned textile businessman of the city and owns a textile manufacturing unit at Sachin GIDC. Cops investigating the case believe that Tushar might have run away as family members have received no ransom calls till now.

During investigation, cops found that Bhingaria alighted near Udhna Darwaja from Honda city car. He asked his driver to return home and went away in another direction. Cops are trying to investigate where, and with whom, Bhingaria went after alighting from the car.
