A Delhi Court on Friday, disallowed a plea by a suspected Indian Mujahideen activist's to be provided with books for preparing for his BSc examination.

Chief Metropolitan magistrate Kaveri Baweja rejected the application filed on behalf of Mobin Kader Sheikh, said to be a member of IM's media cell, seeking permission to be provided with books for his examination beginning from March 25.

In the application, his counsel said the accused had already been granted permission by a MCOCA court in Mumbai to appear in the examination.

The court said since the accused had already been ordered to be sent back to Maharashtra, he could move the application
before the court there.

On March 17, the court had sent back three suspected Indian Mujahideen terrorists, including its media cell head Mansoor Ashgar Peerbhoy accused of sending terror e-mails to media organisations before the serial blasts in Delhi and Ahmedabad last year, to Maharashtra.

Mobin, Peerbhoy and Asif Bashir Sheikh, who were arrested in October last year for allegedly sending terror e-mails, were brought to Delhi for probing their alleged role in September 13 serial blasts.
