Dismissing the possibility of Third Front coming to power, Union minister Ram Vilas Paswan on Sunday said the "Front has only leaders but not followers."

UPA will get a simple majority on its own and it could reach the number of 280 or 290 in the 543-member Lok Sabha, he claimed.

"Those who are trying to create hoopla about the Front and Mayawati should understand everybody is a PM candidate in the Third Front. Is there any party leader in the Third Front who is not in the PM's race? The Front has no followers but only leaders," Paswan said.

"Third Front is all set to disintegrate after polls more so as Mayawati is there. There will be clashes on the name of PM in the front in future," he said.

He was replying to a query on BSP chief Mayawati's chances of becoming prime minister of the country as a Third Front candidate.

"There are only two Fronts NDA and UPA. NDA is on the brink of disintegration with its allies leaving one after another while UPA so far remains united with allies sticking to the alliance," he argued.

Asked if there could be a non-Congress PM after elections if Congress fails to get at least 120 seats, Paswan said, "Congress has no threat (of not having its PM) even it could get 120 seats."
