Dhoni is maha fun to hang out with: Bipasha

Bipasha Basu may have turned 30 on Tuesday, but the sultry actress still gets excited about her birthday.

“I am like a child as far as birthdays and festivals are concerned. I look forward to them and am very enthusiastic when it comes to special days. Last year, the celebrations went on for a week, but this time it seemed like nothing much would happen,” she tells us.

Apparently, boyfriend John Abraham put on a great act a few days before her special day. “He pretended that he wasn’t really giving much importance to the day, and just said that we would be going to his mum’s place for dinner,” she informs.

Fortunately, for her, the day went just as she would have imagined. John had planned a huge birthday bash for her.

“All our close friends and family members were present.”

But Bipasha did shed a few tears at the party too. This was after watching a short movie that younger sister Bijoyta had made in her honour.

“She made this 12-minute film on me, which was full of masala, humour and emotion.

Though it was funny, I was so touched that I kept crying throughout. She is so talented; she made the movie with only a handycam and wrote the script herself. I am truly blessed,” she says, emotionally.

Of course, the surprises didn’t end there. India’s blue-eyed boy of the moment MS Dhoni made a special appearance. Dhoni, who recently shot with Bipasha for a commercial in Hong Kong, has become good friends with the star.

“Dhoni is maha fun to hang with. Even though I’ve known him for only the last two years, it feels like he is one of my close pals from school with whom I can talk and laugh about everything under the sun. It’s nice to have a friend like him,” she says.
