Bobbitt case accused moves High Court

Dr Sayeda Ameena, who was arrested for allegedly bobbittising a Mysore doctor, has approached the high court seeking bail, after the second Fast Track court had on December 30 rejected her bail plea.

It is alleged that Ameena drugged Dr Mir Arshad Ali at her Koramangala clinic before cutting off his private organ. She then took him to a hospital.

The accused and victim were from Mysore and were reported to be lovers. However, Ali married another girl, which allegedly enraged Ameena and made her commit the crime.
