UN holds meet to evaluate Gaza situation

UNITED NATIONS: The UN Security Council has held closed-doors emergency meeting to consider the situation created by the ground offensive launched by Israel into Hamas controlled Gaza strip after 8 days of air strikes. 

The UN meet took place on Saturday evening after Israeli troops launched ground attacks into Hamas held Gaza Strip. Israel week-long airstrikes on the coastal strip has killed over 460 Palestinians.
