Looks like Vishal Bhardwaj’s ban on Shahid Kapur from making public appearances for four months to protect his look for Kaminay has been lifted with the actor making a grand entry at an event recently held in Mumbai.

Shahid is sporting a tanned look for the movie. His hair was also done up for the film. He was supposed to have a French beard too. His role also demanded to carry off a scar on his face and he had to shave off a portion of his right eyebrow. Vishal was very particular to keep his get-up a secret and instructed him to shy away from public eye for four months (the filming schedule of the film).

But it is obvious that the blanket ban does not exist anymore as Shahid walked into his friend Halim Aalim’s new hair salon in full public view and also posed for the cameras. He was not carrying his Kaminey look either. He did not have the beard. His bronze look was gone and he was in full mood to get snapped.

However, he wasn’t in the best mood to chat up as we tried to probe why he was in the hiding? Was it due to the contract?

Shahid, who was in full mood to bond with the host of B-towners at the event, gave us a short reply. “You will see me more often from now on. It’s great to be here and support a friend.”
