NEW DELHI: The panic and hysteria caused by the Mumbai terror attack are affecting Delhi life.

Proceedings at the high court and Tees Hazari court came to a grinding halt on Thursday after an anonymous caller warned blasts had been planned at the premises.
Police and bomb disposal squads were rushed to the sites and proceedings stopped so that the area could be searched.

The Tees Hazari court was the first to receive a call around 9.12 am. The caller threatened to blow up the premises.

This is the third consecutive day of hoax calls in the capital. On Wednesday, police had received two similar calls, threatening to blow up schools in west Delhi. Police said citizens were scared and suspected Delhi could well be the next terror target after Mumbai. They said some elements were trying to take advantage of this to cause panic.
