NAGPUR: Australia coach Tim Nielsen said he expects India to bowl a negative line on Monday like they did in the first innings and said it was up to the batsmen to negate the home team's tactics and get the runs fast on the last day of the fourth and final Test.

"We have got to score quick. India showed their tactics tonight (in nine balls in which Australia made 13 runs). I thought they bowled quite wide yesterday to very defensive fields. They have the luxury being 1-0 up in the series. Our challenge is to counter that and make sure we give ourselves the best chance of chasing down the 369 more runs we need tomorrow," he explained.

The Australia coach felt the challenge before his team was to bat out of their comfort zone and do things they are not used to on the final day and added that his team would aim for a win and not a draw.

"India will set the challenge of making us do things we are not used to doing or making us play outside our comfort zone to try and score the runs. Our first priority is to try and win the Test. We are not going to turn up tomorrow and playing to draw the Test," he said at the post-match press conference on Sunday.

He drew a parallel with the drawn third Test at Delhi when Australia chased a huge first innings total and came very close.

"It's (situation) not dissimilar to Delhi where we had chased 613 and got to 570-odd.  It's a different challenge because we have got one chance at it," he added.

Nielsen also defended captain Ricky Ponting's decision to use part-time bowlers in the final session to speed up his team's over-rate instead of pressing on with his regular bowlers after having India on the ropes at 166 for six today.
