Bihar Madarsa Education Board chief is dead

PATNA: Chairman of the Bihar State Madarasa Education Board Haji Salauddin Siddiqui on Saturdaday died of heart attack. He was 55.
    
The end came at Indira Gandhi Institute of cardiology on Saturday morning.
    
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has condoled the death of Siddiqui, who he described as a popular and dedicated social activist and an educationist of eminence.
    
Kumar placed a wreath on the body of Siddiqui and announced a state funeral for him.
    
"May God give his family and admirers strength to bear the loss," he said in a condolence message.
