Managing time to don the greasepaint is challenging once you become a mother, says the actor.

Juhi Chawla says that she is maintaining a ‘strange and chaotic’ balance between her home and work.

“Besides raising my children, I have to take care of my music classes and movies. Hence, I feel happy that I am not very busy to neglect my home and kids. At the same time, I am satisfied that I am not sitting idle,” she says.

Juhi Chawla is married to industrialist Jai Mehta. The couple have two children: A boy and a girl. She gave birth to her first child, a girl named Jhanvi, on February 21, 2001 and on July 21, 2003, gave birth to a son called Arjun.

Talking about movies, Juhi says, that she only likes to do films which make “sense” to her. “It does not matter if I don’t have a significant role,” the actor says adding that she has done Teen Deewarein earlier, where she had just played a supporting role.

Juhi, who is doing lesser number of films after marriage and kids, had three releases in 2008: Krazzy4, Bhootnath and Kismet Konnection. She has also lent her voice to the character of Sita in Ramayana-the epic, an animation film.

The actor said that she was not happy with animation films Ganesha and Hanuman. “With no offences meant, I was disappointed with the quality of animation,” she added.
She says that in films, it is difficult to match the lip sync during dubbing and go through the same emotions that one had gone through during the shooting of the film.

Speaking about her future projects, Juhi says that she will be part of Kamal Hassan’s next project Marmayogi. She says that she is not aware of the details of the film and the rest of the cast.

When asked if she was tempted to do television-hosting or judging a reality show, she said the concept does not excite her.

“Whatever I do, I do it with all my heart not just for the sake of doing it,” she ends.
