Dalit girl set ablaze by four boys

SAGAR: A Dalit girl was allegedly set afire by four neighbourhood youths for opposing their indecent advances at Shahgarh town in the district.
    
The incident occured on March 3 when the 17-year-old girl objected to the indecent advances of four youths living in her neighbourhood, police said on Wednesday.
    
She was going to answer nature's call on a hillock in Shahgarh town, nearly 65 kms from here, when the incident took place, they said. Enraged over the girl's protest, they poured kerosene over her and set her ablaze.
    
The girl, who suffered nearly 70 per cent burns, was admitted to a hospital here.
    
Police have registered a case launched a hunt for the youths.
