Yahoo ties up with Idea for search services

MUMBAI: Internet major Yahoo announced on Wednesday that it has signed a strategic partnership agreement with mobile service provider Idea Cellular in India.

The partnership focusses on distribution of Yahoo's mobile search service which was launched in Asia earlier this year.

Yahoo one search gives consumer access to news, web image, financial information and weather conditions.

Pradeep Shrivastava, chief marketing officer, Idea Cellular Limited said, "Yahoo one search provides Idea with a competitive advantage by offering a reliable easy to use mobile search offer to consumers in India".
