KOLKATA: Team India skipper Rahul Dravid sustained injury on his face on Saturday during the practice session of the ongoing conditioning camp at the Eden Gardens here ahead of the Bangladesh tour.
Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) sources said Dravid was injured in the morning by a bouncer from RP Singh and had to leave the ground in pain. The medical unit team of the CAB immediately examined Dravid.
Rahul was wearing a helmet but still could not escape the ferocity of the delivery.
Earlier, master blaster Sachin Tendulkar sustained injury in his right ankle during practice session on May 2, the first day of the camp.
Saturday is the fourth day of the five-day conditioning camp.
