PANAJI: Goa Chief Minister Digamber Kamat will brief Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on British teenager Scarlett Keeling's death case on Tuesday.
Kamat, who has left for Delhi to attend a Planning Commission meeting, will be meeting the Prime Minister in the afternoon and will later call upon Union Tourism Minister Ambika Soni, sources close to the Chief Minister's office said.
Scarlett Eden Keeling, the 15-year-old British national was found dead at Goa's popular Anjuna beach on February 18.
After Scarlett's mother Fiona Mackeown suspected foul play in the death, the police had swung into action arresting two persons for drugging, raping and murdering the teenager.
The mother of the deceased girl had earlier sought the Prime Minister's intervention in the case. She had also sought a CBI inquiry into the case.
