We won't back down during ODIs: Sree

MELBOURNE: Despite all the controversy following the spat between Harbhajan Singh and Andrew Symonds during the Sydney Test, temperamental pacer Sreesanth warned that Team India will not back down from any onfield confrontations during the ODI tri-series.

''We never backed down. Why should we? We have players who can give it back with interest,'' Sreesanth was quoted as saying by the 'Herald Sun'.
  
''What's the worst that can happen? Six sixes? I can always come back next over. All I need is just one ball to get (the batsman) out,'' he added.
  
Sreesanth, who had grabbed the headlines for his aggressive behaviour during the Australian tour to India last year, advised the Aussies to be on their guards as he is a part of the ODI squad.
  
''The Aussies should be worried I am coming. Sreesanth's way is to be aggressive,'' he said.
  
The Commonwalth Bank ODI tri-series, which also features Sri Lanka, starts with the opening match between India and the hosts at Brisbane on February 3.
