"My home and life have been destroyed," said Sunita Jaiswal, 28, who lost her husband, Brijmohan Jaiswal, in the 11/7 blast at Borivli, on being told that the trial of the blast accused is just about to begin.

"Life has become a constant struggle," said Sunita, whose one-and-half year old son, Ayush, was diagnosed with heart disease. Help poured in only after DNA and other media threw light on her case.

Ayush was operated in Delhi in August this year, but he needs two more surgeries. "Those who did this should be punished severely," said the Mira Road resident.

In the time gone by since the bomb blasts, Parag Sawant, 30, has become a father and his wife, Preeti, has completed her education. But the comatose Parag lies in Hinduja Hospital, oblivious to everything.

"There has been slight improvement in his reflexes. Even though there is no glint of recognition in his eyes, he does blink when we ask him who we are," said Madhuri Sawant, Parag's mother.

"I didn't know about the trial. But I think the people responsible should be hanged," she said.
