LONDON: Five students and their teacher were taken to hospital on Tuesday after a chemical accident at their school, North Wales fire service said on Tuesday.
Firefighters were called to the Ysgol Dyffryn Nantlle school in Penygroes, North Wales after reports that a student had sprayed a cleaning chemical indoors, a spokesman said.
The five students and their teacher were taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries. The rest of the class were sent home.
In a statement, the fire service praised the teacher’s action but did not say what chemical was involved. North Wales police are investigating.
