‘2 more friends of Moon are involved’

Two new names have cropped up in the sensational case of 22-year-old Avinash Patnaik who allegedly shot the mother and uncle of model Moon Das, 23, and then reportedly killed himself on Thursday last week. 

In a revelation made by Avinash’s father Bhupen, he claimed that apart from Romesh Sharma, there were two more friends of Moon who used to regularly telephone Avinash in Bhubaneshwar.

Before Avinash left for Mumbai from Bhubaneshwar, two persons called Sudanshu and Pintu had called him and urged him to come to Mumbai. “Sudanshu and Pintu, both Moons’ friends were in constant touch with Avinash. I am sure they must have hatched a conspiracy to target my son,” alleged Bhupen over the phone from Bhubaneshwar. On reaching Mumbai, Avinash had met Romesh, Sudanshu

and Pintu before going to Moon’s place. Both, Sudanshu and Pintu are residents of Lokhandwala, he said. Bhupen further said that he will be coming to Mumbai next week and will hand over all the documents and other related material to the police.
