One arrested for manufacturing duplicate medicine

JALANDHAR: The district police on Friday conducted raid on a drug factory in focal point area and recovered more than 2300 duplicate capsules of famous medicine Becasule with the arrest of owner of the factory.
   
On the complaint of Delhi based drug manufacturing company EIPR, police party of maqsudan police station raided the premises of Calbros drugs and chemical factory in focal point area and recovered large quantity of capsules matching to the original Becasule capsules, police sources said.
   
Owner of the factory identified as jot Prakash resident of Phagwara gate area was arrested under copyright act, sources said adding that a case was registered against the accused in Maqsudan police station.
