CHANDIGARH: Sachin Tendulkar's turning down of Test captaincy may have created a flutter but the master batsman seemed unaffected by the developments surrounding him as he sported a relaxed look ahead of tomorrow's match against Pakistan.

Taking time off the schedule, Tendulkar went to the Chandigarh Lake Club today along with wife Anjali and children - son Arjun and daughter Sara.

While the Indian team was supposed to have a net session at Mohali in the afternoon, he played cricket with his children at the lake lawns earlier in the day.

The family seemed to enjoy the surroundings of the club, which is located on the banks of Sukhna Lake.

"Tendulkar played with his children and seemed to have thoroughly enjoyed his outing with his family," Lake Club's General Manager, Reet Mohinder Singh said.

The batsman seemed relaxed and in cheerful mood, he said.

Tendulkar also visited the nearby Rock Garden.

The children, in particular, seemed to enjoy the wonder created out of waste material by its creator, Nek Chand, and seemed to put many questions to Tendulkar about various things kept in the garden.

Incidentally, Rock Garden is also celebrating its diamond jubilee week from Wednesday.

The master batsman, who arrived here Tuesday for Wednesday's match against Pakistan, has been looking relaxed since his arrival at the team hotel here.

Before he arrived with the team, which flew down here from Guwahati, Tendulkar's wife and their children had already reached. As soon as he stepped in the hotel complex, Anjali and the children went outside to receive him.
