Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy had a fun-filled musical blast with Aamir Khan

Music composers Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy are recording for Aamir’s ‘Taare Zameen Par’ and they just can’t stop talking about the fun they’re having - especially during their little picnic at Aamir Khan’s Panchgani house, where the actor had got married.

What’s added to their excitement is their project for Walt Disney, which is bringing down the popular telefilm ‘High School Musical’ to India. The trio have been signed up to compose for the film. “They heard our music and loved it. We are doing three original songs — all fun tracks, very young and bubbly,” says Shankar Mahadevan who has no complaints about offers from big banner films piling up.

“We’re doing several films, but right now it’s ‘Taare Zameen Par’ that’s taking up a lot of time. It’s fun to work with Aamir — he’s so not like a superstar and is completely chilled out. He’s got a great sense of music and we got all the freedom to experiment with fresh sound,” he adds. The musicians spent five days in the house and are now back in Mumbai to finish off the work. Their other projects include Anil Kapoor’s ‘Shortcut’ and two films by Farhan Akhtar.
