AHMEDABAD: The Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIMA) and Duke University's Fuqua School of Business, have launched an innovative executive education initiative under its global leaders programme, 'Growing and Innovating in a Flat World.'
The programme will be conducted both in India and the United States, starting August 20-27 (India) and September 17-24 (US).
The global leaders program (GLP) brings together, for the first time, two leading business schools from India and the US in a partnership to offer a world class programme, an IIMA release stated.
The programme combines IIMA's understanding of the socio-economic reality of the fast-growing Asian region and its strength in teaching with the thought leadership of Duke with its insights into the developed markets.
The programme offers a comprehensive global business perspective for executives leading global organisations or those organizations moving to being global. The GLP is designed for top and senior managers from global or multi-national companies and companies with aspirations to become global.
''The GLP represents a powerful developmental experience for senior managers and entrepreneurs,'' said IIMA Co-ordinator for module-I of the programme Prof Deepti Bhatnagar.
