MUMBAI: The India Chapter of International Advertising Association (ICIAA) is organising a study tour for 22 chief executive officers to the US on the developments in new age media.

The delegation, which comprises senior professionals from marketing, advertising and media (electronic and print), will visit Microsoft, Yahoo!, Google and Walt Disney to get a first-hand overview of the latest developments in the digital space and in media convergence.  

Pradeep Guha, CEO, Zee Group, and president, ICIAA, said: “This is a recognition of the rapid changes taking place in new age media and their definite implications on the Indian business scenario.”

Raj Nayak, CEO, NDTV Media, and vice-president, IC IAA said: “Along with the lecture series, ‘International Indians’, this was a novel and proactive step by the IC IAA to focus on global developments in a manner that would serve the interests of the Indian industry”. 

The IAA, a global network with 4,000 members, has 56 chapters in 76 countries. It is a one-of-a-kind strategic partnership which champions the common interests of all the disciplines across the full spectrum of marketing communications.
