To mount pressure on the ruling BJP in Madhya Pradesh, Uma Bharti's Bhartiya Janshakti Party will declare its candidates for the 2008 assembly polls a year inadvance.

UJJAIN: To mount pressure on the ruling BJP in Madhya Pradesh, Uma Bharti's Bhartiya Janshakti Party will declare its candidates for the 2008 assembly polls a year inadvance.
    
"The Bhartiya Janshakti Party will declare its candidates for the assembly polls in Madhya Prasesh in October 2007,"  party president Uma Bharti told here on Friday before leaving for Sanver to take part in a rally.

By-polls are due in Sanver following the death of sitting MLA and Minister Prakash Sonkar. However, the Election Commission is yet to announce the date for the by-polls.

Uma Bharti, whose party has declared Santosh Malviya as its candidate for the Sanver by-polls, claimed he would emerge victorious in the polls.

The BJP and Congress have not yet named their candidates for the by-poll.
