NOTTINGHAM: After escaping to a draw with the help of some divine intervention in the first match at Lord's, the Indian cricket team arrived here on Tuesday for the second cricket Test against England which kicks off on Friday.

Rahul Dravid's men left London at 1630 hrs IST and reached Nottingham after a three-hour bus journey.

India were just one wicket away from a defeat that looked imminent before heavens opened up and no play was possible on the final day of the first Test.

After his side scraped to a miraculous draw, a disappointed Dravid had advised the batsmen to introspect.

Admitting his team somehow managed to 'get out of the jail' at Lord's, Dravid pointed out that India have traditionally picked up their game after the first Test abroad and he would go into the second Test with the same belief that his teammates would put up an improved show this time.
