KOLKATA: A wheel of an Air Deccan plane with 110 passengers on board got bogged down in soft ground near the runway as it was preparing to take off from the NSC Bose International Aiport early on Tuesday morning.
The flight which was headed for Raipur and Delhi was towed back to the runway, airport sources said.
The operations to pull it back led to the runway remaining blocked for about 25 minutes. The flight later left for its destination.
Meanwhile, all other flights to and from Kolkata operated on schedule despite the inclement weather, the sources added.
