Body of one missing cop found; another returns safely

JAIPUR: One of the two policemen, who went missing during a clash with Gurjars in Dausa district on Wednesday, was found dead on Wednesday taking the toll in the continuing violence to 14.

The other policeman who was reported missing on Thursday returned safely, a top police official said.

The body of a policeman, Dungar Singh , was recovered while Yusuf Ali returned this morning, Director General of Police AS Gill said.

Two policemen have been killed in the violence.

The Gurjar Action Committee, which launched an indefinite traffic blockade on Tuesday demanding Scheduled Tribe status, were also holding three bodies of protestors in Patoli, he said adding they were not allowing either the administration nor the police to reach there.
