Reliance Communications to invest 10,000 cr in 2007-08; Q4 net up 55 pc

Reliance Communications on Monday said it will make a capital expenditure of Rs 10,000 crore in 2007-08 and has clocked a 55 per cent year-on-year rise in net profits for the fourth quarter at Rs 1,024 crore.

MUMBAI: Reliance Communications on Monday said it will make a capital expenditure of Rs 10,000 crore in 2007-08 and has clocked a 55 per cent year-on-year rise in net profits for the fourth quarter at Rs 1,024 crore.

The revenue increased 33 per cent during the quarter at Rs 3,937 crore as compared to the same quarter in the previous year.

For the fiscal 2007, the company registered a 612 per cent hike in net profit at Rs 3,163 crore while revenues went up 34 per cent at Rs 14,468 crore.

The company's net worth stood at Rs 22,390 crore. It has declared a maiden dividend of 10 per cent involving an outlay of Rs 120 crore.
