Cache of arms and ammunition recovered in J&K

JAMMU: A huge cache of arms and ammunition has been recovered in the Rajouri and Ramban districts of Jammu and Kashmir, a defence spokesman said here.

Acting on a tip-off, security personnel from Rashtriya Rifles carried out a search operation in Hauli Nallah in Darhal area of Rajouri district on Tuesday and recovered ten grenades, one small hand-grenade, three RPG rounds, three AK magzines, 75 rounds of AK ammunition, he said.

The troops also recovered a chinese hand-grenade, eight rounds of AK-47, five fired cases of AK-47, one under barrel grenade launcher from Tanki in Banihal tehsil of Ramban district on Tuesday, he said.
