Unattended bag triggers confusion at international airport

MUMBAI: An unattended bag triggered confusion at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport here on Tuesday morning, police said.

The bag was found outside one of the terminals of the airport and a team from the bomb detection and disposal squad was rushed to the spot to verify its contents, they said adding some clothes were found inside.

"Some passengers were inconvenienced as we had to cordon off the area outside the terminal for checking out the baggage," Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone VIII) RN Tadvi said.
