MUMBAI: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will host the Israel under-17 team for the first time as part of its commitment to develop the game in associate member countries of the ICC.
The 14-member squad, the nucleus of the under-19 side that will play in the European Cup later this year, will play five practice games here during their week-long stay.
Apart from the matches, the team will also undergo special training to be organised by the Mumbai Cricket Association.
The team, which arrives on Monday, will play their opening tie on March 20. The matches will be played at the Wankhede Stadium and at the Bandra-Kurla Complex.
