Sanjay Dutt caught in an emotional mood

What’s your state of mind?
Stressed! I have been a bit under the weather thanks to a viral infection. Whenever I fall ill I stress more. I worry about my work commitments. I need to be on the move. I am a restless person.

Are you a morning person?
No not all! I get up early but I need to be with myself for a while. I don’t like anyone talking to me for the first few minutes after I surface. Once I have had my tea and have read the papers I am fine.

Are you a good liar?
I can lie only in movies while being honest to my roles. I cannot lie. I have an expressive face. It can never hide anything.

Where is the best place to be?
Home.

What’s the cutest thing about you?
My honesty and my smile.

How  would you describe yourself to someone who doesn’t know you?
An emotional guy, whose heart rules his life.

Do you suffer from pre-release jitters?
No. I believe good work will always be appreciated. You will get your due sooner or later.

The best compliment you have ever received?
After watching ‘Munnabhai MBBS’, my dad told me, “I am proud of you son.” I was in tears when he said that. It meant so much to me. I treasure those words.

What do you enjoy most about being an actor?
The fact that I can touch people’s lives in a positive way.

Your biggest strength?
My family and the blessings of my parents.

When was the last time you cried?
I cry almost everyday when I think of my parents. I miss them a lot.

One film that you can see again and again?
Right now, I would say the ‘Munnabhai’ series.

Two essentials in life?
Unconditional love and faith in yourself.

If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be?
My gullible nature.

Tell us three unknown facts about you?
I am a computer freak. I love watching the National Geographic and History Channel. I can sing.

What’s the weirdest thing you have ever put in your mouth?
I love to experiment with food. I tried out a food platter in Thailand, which everyone said looked weird. It was sea food.

What don’t you leave home without?
A prayer.

If you were granted three wishes what would they be?
My freedom, happiness for everyone and world peace.
