The initial promos of the film looked very interesting. But I do not know why they have not changed the promos after that. It should definitely take a good initial. But it doesn’t seem like a bumper opening.
The craze one expects from a movie with a cast like this is missing. But I am looking forward to this film as Vidhu Vinod Chopra returns to direction after seven years.

The advance booking is great. The vibes from those who have seen the film seem encouraging. My gut feeling is that it will do well because after ‘Salaam-e-Ishq’ and ‘Guru’ there is a hunger for a blockbuster.

The prospects of ‘Eklavya’ look promising. It’s a personal hunch. My confidence stems from the fact that it has got a fantastic star cast and Vidhu Vinod Chopra has become a brand. His name is synonymous with good cinema. The audience is keen to see a big-budget and a huge star cast film after ‘Guru’. I think ‘Eklavya’ will fill the void.
