Bejan Daruwalla gets a call from Channel 4

The producers of ‘Big Brother’ want to know more about Indian culture

The soothsayer predicts the future for others, but this time good luck’s come knocking on his door. A reporter from Channel 4 named Saki called Bejan Daruwalla two days ago and requested an interview.

“She was intrigued about subjects — how religion plays an important role in the life of Indians and also asked me the role of astrology in India,” reveals Bejan.

Confirming that the reporter will be coming to India for the interview in February, Bejan can’t help but note the bright prospects this year holds for Shilpa Shetty.

“It was such a coincidence that Shilpa, who is a part of Channel 4’s ‘Big Brother’, is born on June 8 and this lady’s date of birth is June 9. Both of them are Geminis, and Shilpa may perhaps win,” he says.

“This is the year of the Leo. So Sagittarians and Geminis are bound to be successful. But I’ve always maintained that my average is 80 per cent and not 100 per cent. Because I believe that there are no guarantees in life and one has to work towards his destiny. That is why I work like a donkey, and enjoy like a king.”

That’s not all — about ten days ago, Bejan was also approached by the editor of a German magazine. “The magazine ‘Feur Sie’ of Germany is going to feature the world’s top ten astrologers and want me to be a part of it,” says Bejan. It’s clearly the year of Bejan as well.
