Man found murdered on footbridge near Azad Maidan

MUMBAI: The body of a 35-year-old man was found on a footover bridge with multiple stab injuries near Azad Maidan on Thursday morning.

The body was found at around 6 am at the Anandilal Poddar Chowk, near Gol Masjid, police said.

Police refused to say whether the murder was the handiwork of the suspected serial-killer on the prowl in the area, who has allegedly killed three persons using the same modus operandi in the last few months.

The Mumbai Police had formed a team a few days ago under the zonal deputy commissioner to nab the killer, suspected to be mentally deranged.
