NOIDA: BSP chief Mayawati on Sunday visited Nithari village in Noida from where over 30 children went missing and demanded a CBI probe into the killings.

She accused the Mulayam Singh Yadav led government of lapses on the security front in the state and demanded President's rule in the state.

Mayawati interacted with the large number of people, who had gathered here including some of the parents whose children were killed by the master-servant duo of Mohinder Singh and Surendra alias Satish.

"This is a major incident which local police cannot handle. We seek CBI inquiry," Mayawati said.

The simmering anger among the residents today came to the fore as the angry residents of Nithari village gathered in huge numbers opposite Mohinder Singh's D-5 residence in Sector 31 here, shouting slogans of strict action against him.

The resentment among the residents also led to slogans of "burn down the house", but police personnel present in full force managed to disperse them.
